Over the 27 years I have been in practice I have helped thousands of sports people, ranging from the total amateur to World Champions in various sports by the use of Fast Track Hypnosis.
People who participate in some sports can work very hard at the physical part of their sport. But all that hard physical work will not train the mind to be athletic. Some of the common obstacles that the athletes/ sports persons may encounter those causes them to make it more difficult to reach their targets are.
- The fear of the actual competition.
- The feeling of being watched (particularly in Golf).
- The fear of losing.
- The fear of making a fool of themselves.
Fast Track Hypnosis is one of the greatest motivational tools ever, and can be used in all areas of life, e.g., business, careers, personal, and especially in sports motivation. The most successful sports people are always the most motivated.
For many years hypnosis has being used by millions of people to improve their performance in sports, with golf probably being the most popular in which people have applied hypnosis / hypnotherapy techniques.
However, it can also be used with many other individual and team sports, including, football, rugby, rowing, cricket, clay pigeon shooting, racing, boxing, martial arts, surfing, etc, the list is endless.
Most of the time it is to help them overcome mental blocks in their performance and to develop strong competitive skills, so they could (and did) go on to achieve outstanding results in their fields.
Many sporting teams and successful competitors are using hypnosis / hypnotherapy techniques as an integral part of their preparation, not just in professional sport but also at the lower competitive levels. (Even sport psychologists have used hypnosis techniques in their sports motivation programmes and sometimes don’t realise they are doing it).
A highly motivated person would be more eager to give a better performance than a lowly motivated one with the same skills. By using Fast Track Hypnosis it helps the client to focus on their sport and to develop the skills and attitudes they need to get right to the top. Hypnosis can help to improve their game, such as Golf, by removing the self limiting beliefs or behaviours that may be reducing their results, and also feeling much more like training, etc
Under hypnosis suggestions are used that can be applied to any competitive challenge. These allow the client to imagine themselves rehearsing and refining the perfect swing in golf, the perfect goal or running the perfect mile, or to recall a time of a sporting achievement, such as winning a race, scoring a goal etc. By reviewing in their mind under hypnosis they can correct any mistakes that they previously made for the next time….
Using the wonderful calming effects of Fast Track Hypnosis the client is asked to
visualise themselves being successful in their sport, this in turn allows them to acquire
the motivation for all the positive things that can come with success.
If the problem is a simple one then the client would require only one session.
However if the problem is deeper rooted then the process normally takes approximately 4 sessions.
It is impossible to be totally accurate as to how many sessions are required due to the differences in clients, but with the use of my Fast Track Hypnosis it dramatically speeds up the whole process.
CDs are also provided to reinforce the ongoing results as they progress and finally clients are taught self-hypnosis to give positive suggestions to themselves without the use of CDs.

Dear Alan, I am writing to thank you for the session and CD I got from you some weeks ago. The effects have been tremendous. It has made an unbelievable difference to my golf playing – especially in the second half of the season. I was able to concentrate totally on my matches having lost the “nerves” I was plagued with earlier on.
